Okay, so it was brought to my attention recently that my profile was a bit confusing. I was told I sounded like a jerk... I'm not really a jerk. I'm a nerd. I play video games, I watch lame t.v. shows like Buffy and Smallville. I have a select group of friends, with whom I hang out regularly. I'm picky about foods. I don't usually like anything I can't pronounce, or anything that smells funny. Granted I have a decent sized vocabulary so it isn't usually a problem. I smoke, fully knowing of it's deadly effects and bad smelling aromas. I pride myself on my honesty, and sarcasm. People tell me I'm a nice guy, because I'm always trying to help people... Sometimes my honesty, mixed with my sarcasm, can make me seem rude. I have been told from a few people that I sound like some kind of "hoity-toity" prim and proper type when talking through my fingers. It's because I used to love English in High School, and because of that I always try to use proper grammar when writing. I don't actually talk the way I type. What's really funny is, if I try to not type with proper grammar, I sound like I'm completely retarded...

Ok so even though ive been on this site for a while i didnt really put much thought into it, but i have been persuaded to give this a shot... lets see about me.....i love my friends and family without them i dont know where i would be. my friends say i have nerd tendencies jus beacause i play videogame and i may or may not play WoW once in a while. Dont get me wrong i know how to have a good time but in oxnard its hard to find something interesting to do. Although i do like to go out to f.r.i.d.a.y.s with my friends , we usually spend a couple of hours just drinkin and talking the night away. Downtown Ventura is pretty cool too , me and my friends usually hit up a few bars u tend to meet some interesting people there....im just a nice guy looking to try and find someone to have a connection with, its rare nowadays. ....anything else just ask

None of this tells you who I really am but here goes. I'm a Musician, a Paranormal investigator, and a botanist. Kind of an odd line up I know! I play about anything with a string and a lot without. I've joined a paranormal group (kinda like ghosthunters) we are starting to post episodes on youtube. And I work at a nursery to further my plant knowledge and keep up my sweet nerd reputation! Also random. Most of my college education comes from film school. That reminds me I need to start paying my student loans... Yeah right!

I love the great outdoors, especially any thing related to the water. I believe the cup is always half full and the grass is green right where I stand. I prefer dive bars to clubs even though I love to dance and play dress up. Movies on a first date is a terrible idea, if someone wanted to take me in a hot air balloon on a first date I might fall head over heels. I'm tired of meeting guys that say they are looking for love and all they try (unsuccessfully) to do on the first meet is to get into your pants (or skirt). I believe in speaking my mind and being honest and sincere, I hate wasting time and people that pretend to be something they are not.

I've procrastinated writing this since whatever time I first subscribed. I dislike profiles--I pass on job applications requiring filling out online forms. I probably have a Zen perspective of myself--I can tell you what I am not.

I was born and raised in a small town in Alabama. I had a pretty good childhood and have great parents. I joined the military, shortly after highschool and have been in for the last 6 1/2 years. I have been deployed 4 times on 3 different aircraft carriers (USS Stennis, Nimitz, and Reagan). I have been to Hawaii, Guam, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, UAE, Korea, and Japan. In 6 months, I will be heading to training and school, to prepare for a deployment to Afghanistan.
